The YMCA Adventure Guides Program is for fathers and their sons (5-11 years), and the Adventure Princess program is for fathers and daughters (5-11 years).

At the heart of the program is True North, which is family. Small groups called Tribes, have a unique name and a great heritage. These small groups meet (in the community each month and city-wide each quarter) together to build bonds. The Adventure Guides & Princesses Programs serve to:

  • Enrich relationships between fathers and their sons or daughters
  • Provide adventurous opportunities and activites, as well as build lasting memories.
  • Designate time and encouragement for parents to get to know their kids while they are still kids.
  • Provide nature and camping experiences, which are integral parts of the program.
