Every year, the YMCA involves numerous children and teens in programs and activities that provide them with meaningful experiences. Because of the Y, more young people in neighborhoods around the nation are taking a greater interest in learning and making smarter life choices; exploring their unique talents and interests; and realizing their full potential.

Certifications

The YMCA offers a full YMCA of the USA lifeguard training course that includes CPR and First Aid.

Participants must be 16 years old by the end of the class. Attendance, full participation and successful completion or written tests and performance of all water skills are required. 

Homeschool P.E.

The Y's Homeschool P.E. program focuses on class participation, developing health habits, making new friends and enjoying new forms of exercise and games!
