Something's Cooking!
The J.A. Henry Community YMCA's Teaching Kitchen is serving up something sweet! From plant-based protein courses to Southern soul food with a healthy twist, our cooking classes offer something for everyone. The teaching kitchen was funded through a grant from the State of Tennessee.
Join interactive, hands-on sessions led by food and nutrition experts. You’ll learn practical tips, master creative cooking techniques, and discover delicious, wholesome recipes to enjoy at home. Don’t miss this exciting opportunity to cook, connect, and savor nutritious meals!
Join us for Healthy For Good™
A series of free classes by the American Heart Association.
Classes will be held at the J.A. Henry YMCA on March 6, March 27 and April 17 from 3-5 pm. This series is free for Y members and non-members.

- Up to 100% Fee Coverage
- Full scholarships are available for those who cannot afford the class fee.
