Youth Fitness Classes at the YMCA!
Kids ages 3-15 will be able to build strength, improve endurance, meet new friends and so much more! Youth fitness classes are offered at our Downtown, Hamilton and North River YMCAs. Downtown classes require registration - select a class from the calendar and follow the steps to register.

Downtown Family YMCA
Youth Studio Class Descriptions:
Hop, Skip & Sing - Explore rhythm, coordination & creativity through music & movement. Ages 3+.
Ballet Basics - learn basic movements and terminology while improving flexibility and balance. Ages 3+.
Mini & Me - Workout with your little ones! Ages 3+.
Musical Mini & Me - For parents and kids (18 months to 3 years), this class fosters a love of music through singing, dancing, play and more.
Beat Blast - Cardio Drumming class! Ages 3-5.
Move & Groove - Learn fun dances to tunes like "Hakuna Matata!" Ages 3-5.
Move & Groove Plus - Learn fun dances to tunes like "Hakuna Matata!" Ages 6-12.
Beat Blast Plus - Cardio Drumming class! Ages 6+.
PIT Class Descriptions:
CrossFit Kids - A high-energy class teaching children the basics of movement and teamwork through workouts and games. Classes: Ages 3-5, Ages 6-8 & Ages 9-12.
Ninja Zone - Obstacle course style fitness class designed to improve hand-eye coordination, dexterity & most importantly, FUN! Ages 3+.
Hamilton Family YMCA
Youth Circuit - A high-energy class helping kids build strength, confidence and healthy movement habits. Ages 7-11.
The following classes are seasonal; please check with branch for upcoming sessions:
Family Fitness Days - Wednesdays (parent attendance required)
Kids Yoga - Ages 5+ (parent attendance encouraged)
Family Zumba - All ages (parent attendance encouraged)
North River Family YMCA
Parents not required to attend but must remain on-site.
Athletic Conditioning - A dynamic class building strength, speed and agility for youth athletes of all sports. Ages 7-15.
