Many older adults experience a fear of falling which may cause them to limit activities, resulting in physical weakness--making the risk of falling even greater. This program designed for people ages 60 or older and includes eight two-hour sessions for a small group led by a trained facilitator. Participants will learn to view falls as controllable; set goals for increasing activity; make changes to reduce fall risk; exercise to increase strength and balance.

Program is offered in the Fall and Spring.

Offered at 3 branch sites: Downtown, Cleveland and North River. Free to members.
