Experience the YMCA Community Action Program (Y-CAP) at our Open House to see how it’s changing lives and how you can be part of the mission. Y-CAP is a Christian-based early intervention program for kids ages 10–14, helping improve academics, behavior & character.
Since 1998, more than 2,000 children and families have benefited from after-school programs, summer sessions & activities that strengthen youth & community. At the Open House, you will be able to walk through interactive sections of the YMCA Y-CAP facility, meet some of the kids & hear their stories, & learn about the program’s impact directly from those it serves. Enjoy light refreshments, connect with community leaders, & discover ways to support & engage with Chattanooga’s youth.
