New Water Fitness Classes at the North River YMCA
All A-Board!
Make a splash with our new water fitness classes featuring Aqua Boards, launching Jan. 3. These innovative classes combine strength, balance and mindfulness in a fun, low-impact aquatic environment.
Class sizes are limited to five participants per session.
Aqua Fusion
Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m.
Aqua Fusion blends strength training and aqua yoga using Aqua Boards. Participants move through bodyweight exercises such as squats, burpees and balance challenges, followed by a mindfulness-focused cooldown. This class is ideal for those looking to build strength, improve stability and enjoy a dynamic water workout.
Aqua Yoga
Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6 a.m.
Take your yoga practice to the next level with Aqua Yoga on Aqua Boards. This class incorporates gentle poses and mindful breathing to enhance core strength, focus and flow. Improve stability, flexibility and calm while enjoying the supportive resistance of the water.
Beginner Aqua Yoga
Saturdays at 9:30 a.m.
New to yoga or Aqua Boards? Beginner Aqua Yoga introduces simple poses and gentle movements while helping participants acclimate to the board. With an emphasis on stability, breath and foundational technique, this class is the perfect starting point for all fitness levels.
All classes allow five participants per session. Register early to reserve your spot.
