breathwork & meditation workshop

Ready to improve your well-being?

Breathwork offers numerous physical and mental health Benefits. Join us on March 12, from 11 - 11:45 am in room 316 at the Downtown Family YMCA for a breathwork and meditation workshop led by Doug Graydon, DDS. This transformative workshop will enhance your overall quality of life.

What is Breathwork?

Breathwork is the practice of using structured, conscious breathing techniques for therapeutic purposes. It's a powerful tool to enhance both physical and emotional well-being.

What is Meditation?

Meditation involves focusing the mind to achieve a state of calm and clarity. It is a practice that helps you gain emotional stability and a clear, focused state of mind.

What is Mindfulness?

Mindfullness is the ability to stay present and aware of your thoughts, actions and surroundings, without becoming overwhelmed or reactive.

What is Flow?

Flow is the mental state of optimal performance where actions feel effortless and are fully integrated with consciousness. Achieving flow requires clear goals, immediate feedback and a balance between skill and challenge.

Why Breathwork?

The boundaries between breathwork, meditation and mindfulness are often fluid. Breathwork serves as the foundation for meditation, which can then lead to mindfulness. Together, they offer a powerful tool for improving mental and physical health.
