May is National Mental Health Awareness Month! The Y is a center for mind, body and spirit. In honor of Mental Health Awareness Month, we have gathered some resources for you and your employees around the mind and mental health.

  • Connections and community: our Adventurers program brings together like-minded travelers

  • Parkinson's Support Group (North River and Cleveland branches)
  • Common spaces: we have various groups who gather in our lobby for co-work, meeting over coffee or moms who lunch together
  • Self-care: enjoy some downtime in our saunas or steam rooms
  • Volunteer: giving back to your community is a great way to promote a sense of belonging and well-being

Bring the Y to your Workplace!

  • On-site Wellness Seminars - We have options to fit the needs of your employees including healthy back, nutrition, desk exercising, stress management and more.  
  • On-site Group Exercise Classes -  (6-8 weeks with either 2 or 3 classes per week is recommended)
  • Wellness Coaching - Includes personal assessment for the first 30 minutes. One-on-one discussion regarding behavior change, goal setting, and layout of their own action plan. 
  • On-site Biometric Screening
