MEET CASSIDY: GROUP EX INSTRUCTOR

Cassidy leads the new Downtown class "Bodies in Motion!" Born with congenital heart defects, Cassidy had 4 surgeries at a young age. Her estimated life expectancy was 20 years, and she was told she would need to live a cautious lifestyle. But Cassidy's path was altered by her mother’s decision to  respect the doctor's warning, yet dismiss the sentence of a sheltered life. She put Cassidy in sports, allowing her to run and play with other kids. After High School, Cassidy went on to study special education, where she realized that exercise was a pivotal tool in helping her students. From there, she was inspired to get certified as a personal trainer, and an Adaptive Trainer through the ATA.

Today, Cassidy has exceeded expectations: she has a teenage daughter, a thriving career, and most importantly to her, the athletes showing up to learn new adaptive workouts.
