The YMCA is a Charity...and a Christian Organization
Many people do not know that the YMCA is an IRS-designated 501(c)3 non-profit. As such, the YMCA of Metropolitan Chattanooga contributed over $1.45 million to more than 12,000 families and individuals in 2010.
Everyday at our welcome centers, our swimming pools, and our camps, through our childcare, our fitness centers, our youth sports, and our Y-CAP program, even in our volunteer opportunities, we provide an environment and the opportunity to join us as followers of Christ.
