J. A. Henry Community YMCA
Organized in 1902, the James A. Henry YMCA is committed to Youth Development and serves to impact youth and young adults in nine counties throughout the Tennessee Valley. Henry Y programs are structured around Character Development, healthy living, academic performance and are driven by Asset Development.
The James A Henry YMCA seeks to build strong youth through high quality, but affordable programs that:

Strengthen youth spiritually in the Judeo-Christian faith tradition.

Strengthen youth mentally through mentorship, counseling, hands on learning and exposure such that youth have increased servant leadership skills, enhanced character, stronger academic performance and ultimately adequate preparation to become a successful adult.

Strengthen youth physically through increased physical fitness, healthy eating habits and healthy lifestyle choices.
